Nikola produces abstract compositions combining dyeing, painting and print alongside mark making and stitch. These highly intricate, vibrant, textural surfaces have been inspired by her travels to Africa and the tribal patterns she encountered. Using small juxtapositions of colour and texture she creates rhythms throughout her work. Nikola currently lives in France and has selected this body of work especially for Revolving Gallery.
