Andrew is an abstract expressionist artist from Northumberland, who produces stunning canvases in oil paint. He has a great fascination with the abstract nature of numbers and letter-forms, especially when stripped back to their symbolic origins. These familiar shapes that we use everyday are combined in such a way that we see them afresh in Andrew’s work. His paintings seemingly pose questions, make statements and can even hint at the answers.
