Laura is an emerging artist and illustrator based in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. Her paintings are inspired by nature and organic shapes, which she simplifies into semi-abstract forms. Laura’s training in textiles has certainly influenced the way she paints; her works exhibit areas of ‘woven’ texture, repeat-pattern and ‘sheets’ of overlapping colour.
